Casas del Oso specializes in warm, rustic home including Spanish & Mexican Colonial, Mediterranean, Territorial and true Sante Fe. Much more than a style though, our homes are expressions of romance, magic and dreams. We turn these mysterious notions into architecture that is both classic and timeless. People experience our buildings, appreciate their beauty and wonder, is this new or a hundred years old? That is the effect we wish to achieve.
Our details are uncommon: windows recessed to unexpected depths, exposed hand-hewn beams, handwrought ironwork. Roofs feature stacked mud set tiles and low sloping pitches. We integrate colorful window frames, Talavera tiles, arch doors and Mexican adobe. Antique bells and Spanish monastery doors are acquired as envisioned. We are committed to authenticity, but we always invite imagination in.
